What is Finlândia Circular?
As the world faces the worsening climate crisis, the urgency for transformative solutions has never been greater. The circular economy emerges as a powerful tool—not only to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also to strengthen economic resilience and competitiveness. By rethinking systems of production and consumption, circular strategies offer scalable pathways to decarbonization, while simultaneously promoting sustainable growth.
To advance this agenda, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland is organizing the Finlandia Circular Brasília event, in partnership with the Escola Nacional de Administração Pública (ENAP) and the Instituto Brasileiro de Economia Circular (IBEC), with the support of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC). The event will bring together key stakeholders to exchange insights and practical experiences related to circular economy solutions.
As part of the Finlandia Circular platform, the event serves as a practical space that brings together public authorities, businesses, and academia to develop new opportunities for cooperation and market access. By fostering this dialogue, it aims to generate visibility and demand for Finnish solutions, positioning Finland as a strategic partner in advancing Brazil’s Ecological Transformation Plan (PTE).
The event will be Portuguese and English but simultaneous translation available.

The event is also part of Ambição Circular 2026, an initiative led by Instituto Brasileiro de Economia Circular (IBEC), which proposes a national roadshow aimed at bringing the circular economy to different regions of the country, promoting engagement, capacity building, and strengthening a concrete commitment to an action-oriented agenda.
In addition, the event is recognized as an official side event of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF), reinforcing its international relevance and its connection to the main global discussions on the circular economy.
